Poetry on Fire is a Christian alternative rock and metalcore band built on raw honesty, powerful faith, and emotionally driven music. Blending melodic intensity with heavy breakdowns and atmospheric soundscapes, the band writes songs centered around redemption, identity, brokenness, and restoration through Jesus Christ.
Fronted by vocalist and songwriter Kaleb Webb, Poetry on Fire carries nearly two decades of musical experience and passion for storytelling through sound. Kaleb began writing and producing music nearly 18 years ago, starting with early basement recordings and experimenting with recording software long before the band officially formed.
His musical journey eventually led him to share stages with influential artists within the Christian rock and metalcore scene. Through Poetry on Fire, Kaleb’s goal is simple but powerful: to create music that reaches people who feel lost, overlooked, or broken and remind them that redemption and purpose are still possible.

Kaleb Webb

Kaleb Webb serves as the frontman and primary songwriter for Poetry on Fire. With nearly two decades of experience writing and producing music, Kaleb’s journey began with early home recordings and experimentation with music production long before the band officially formed.
His passion for storytelling through sound has led him to perform alongside numerous artists within the Christian rock and metalcore scene. Through Poetry on Fire, Kaleb’s goal is to create music that reaches people wrestling with faith, identity, and purpose while pointing them toward hope and redemption through Jesus Christ.
Evan CHapman
Drums
Behind the kit is Evan Chapman, whose drumming provides the heartbeat and driving force of the band. Evan’s style combines power, speed, and precision, allowing him to move effortlessly between aggressive metalcore rhythms and dynamic groove-based passages.
His ability to translate complex drum arrangements into high-energy live performances gives Poetry on Fire a relentless momentum that keeps audiences engaged from start to finish.

Zeb Chapman serves as the band’s lead guitarist, delivering soaring leads, crushing riffs, and melodic layers that define much of the band’s sonic identity.
